Resilience in interior architecture education: Distance universal design learning in the COVID-19 pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly affected all levels of education over the World. In Turkey, on March 16, 2020, decision distance was taken in higher sharply. This necessity had caused urgent adaptation to process, which resulted changing courses’ curriculums parallel with emergence new teaching and learning strategies especially applied programs such as interior architecture. process tested ‘resilience’ system explicitly. Resilience means an ability a community, system, or individual ‘adapt’ ‘transform’ case varied facts causing any disruptive situation existing system. taught community about ‘adaptation’ ‘transformation’ through implementing diverse tools responses complex circumstances, courses. With end pandemic, instructors experiencing face-to-face environment anew will sustain it lessons from undoubtedly. study aims discuss concept its basic dimensions, ‘transformation’, architecture by focusing experiences, limitations, potentials experienced process.
